Suzuki D-Day

SUZUKI D-Day Adventure Ride - June 2016 Ride postponed

Proudly supported by Suzuki NZ, this unique adventure ride - covering either one or two days, is strictly limited to everything Suzuki that is road registered and starts with "D".  Entries are limited to only 60 riders!

Suzuki D-Day is suitable for road registered dual purpose/adventure Suzuki motorcycles, and pillions are welcome. So if you own, beg or borrow a DR, a DL or a DRZ motorcycle, and would like to enjoy a fantastic day or 2 of riding off the beaten track in the central North Island with like-minded enthusiasts, then this is the perfect ride for you!

What to Expect:

As a one or two day manoeuvre (the choice is yours when you enter), this ride is going to be a blast, but not so much so that you need to be an expert. The first day of adventure will be aimed at the easy end of the scale, because enjoyment is the key reason for this event! Epic Events staff will guide riders through some magnificent, scenic areas starting from and finishing at National Park. No route sheets or GPS needed.

We're here for some great riding, and perhaps even a chance for a whole weekend away for some you!

Saturday

D-Day National Assault Boot Camp Gravel Road Tour

Afternoon gravel road tour requires a 2 out of 10 skill level and will be suitable for all Suzuki adventure motorcycles.

Troops assemble for briefing no later than 1200hrs from "The Park Hotel" at National Park. This is also a chance to have a catch up and a chin wag, and ensure you are prepared to enjoy a great afternoon of adventure. Make sure you have had an early lunch, which you can get at the hotel if you choose, and some afternoon tea rations will be included along the route.

Sunday

D-Day National Assault The Final Push Off-Road Traverse

If you choose to enter for both days riding, a hearty buffet dinner at The Park Hotel is included in your entry fee!
